Intent

We aim for the children to become curious about the past, to think critically and ask perceptive questions to further their understanding.

Impact

Through history, the children will learn about Britain’s past and the early civilisations of the wider world. Children will have an understanding of the complexity of people’s lives and the process of societal change.  

Implementation 

This will be achieved by a high-quality history education, guest speakers and trips that support the children to weigh evidence and develop perspective and judgement.
