Learning Support Assistant/Individual Needs Assistant
We are looking to appoint a full time LSA/INA to do 2 days a week supporting a child 1:1 as an INA and then the rest of the week as an LSA within the classroom. We would consider a 4 days contract for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will be flexible to work in any year group across the school depending on the current need of the children. As well as working with a child 1:1, you will be working with small groups of children to progress their academic learning and emotional wellbeing. We are looking for a good team player who loves working with children, is passionate about the development of the whole child and can use initiative whilst under pressure.
Please note Applicants MUST have recent experience working with primary age children in a school setting. Please provide a personal statement of no more than one page highlighting your experience, examples of supporting children’s learning and personal qualifications for the post. We would be interested to hear if you have any previous experience working with children who have SEND.
Hours:-
30 hours 15 minutes per week term time only to include a 1hr MMS role each day (4 days a week 24 hours 15 mins).
The hours of work are Monday 8.15am – 3.00pm (½ hr for lunch)
Tuesday to Friday 8.30am - 3.00pm (½ hr for lunch)
Salary Grade 3 point 3 (or Grade 4 depending on experience).
Grade 3 point 3 Annual salary £24,027 pro rata (Actual £16,713)
Grade 3 point 4 Annual salary £24,404 pro rata (Actual £16,805)
