Week 5 Activities and Photos
Week Five: 20th April to 24th April
We have had another wonderful week in school. The beautiful weather allowed us to be outside for lots of the week so we were very lucky.
Each morning started with a high energy work out which we all enjoyed! Jumpstart Jonny led us through many routines which kept us motivated and ready to tackle the rest of the day.
This week the younger children were busy thinking about Goldilocks and the three bears, doing many different creative activities related to this well known story. On St George’s Day, they made their own flags to wave, enjoyed acting out the story using puppets and made their own shields.
The older children had great fun designing and making their own kites, experimenting with different materials. There was just enough breeze to lift the kites up and the children loved charging up and down the field flying them!
Our week ended with a wonderful Forest school session in our beautiful nature area, led by lovely Mr Wesley. We enjoyed working together playing different games, building structures and making clay faces for the trees. It was a perfect way to end a fabulous week.
A big thank you to the children for their enthusiasm, kindness and making us all smile.
