Week 3 Activities and Photos
Adding to the lovely write up from Mrs Edwards, here is a summary of more wonderful activities the children got up to last Thursday.
On Thursday, we listened to (and role-played) the Easter Story from the Bible - recalling that Jesus died on the cross, as the perfect price paid for our forgiveness. We discussed the hope for Christians in him rising again, showing us that there is life after death for the believer.
After that, we foraged enthusiastically around the school grounds, carefully digging, picking and gathering natural materials to create our own beautiful Easter Gardens. This proved to be much fun and the gardens looked very impressive and even realistic!
As a final surprise, Mr Wesley cheerfully appeared to reveal he had hidden more Easter eggs around the field which had been kindly donated by St Wilfred's, William Older Playschool & school staff.
So we dashed around in the smiling sun, until we found them all - thankfully they hadn't melted!
God bless and Happy Easter.
