Opening of our Daily Mile Track by Luke Sinnott
Luke Sinnott, a parathlete who won at the Invictus games and competed in the Paralympics, opened our daily mile track this morning.
He started the morning off with a talk in the school hall to the children about resilience and overcoming difficulties in life. Everyone then made their way out to the daily mile track. Children sat around the track and Luke Sinnott cut the ribbon to officially open the track. He then completed two circuits of the new daily mile running track with a group of children.
Everyone cheered as they ran around the track twice. It was lovely to see everyone enjoying themselves in the sunshine.
