Thursday 4th December 2025

Dear Parents and Carers,

I fully appreciate how busy this time of the year is for everybody and know it can be really quite overwhelming with all the different events, arrangements, dates, props, plans and pressures that the Christmas season can bring. We will do our best to communicate everything that is going on clearly and the weekly newsletter is a good place to come back to for a check on what is coming up and any attachments that you may need for further information.

This Week at St Margaret’s

- Congratulations to the winners of November's Shining Stars award – it was great to meet with the children and celebrate their achievements together.
- 10 children who are learning the drums through Al's drum school performed to their parents on Tuesday – well done to all those involved and for all the progress you have made this term.
- Our Year 2 children did a fantastic job at their Shine Show – it was lovely to welcome so many families into school to enjoy the show and see how brightly our children are shining. Well done to everyone!
- Our Key Stage 1 children took part in the Santa Dash run at the Angmering School this week, and came away as overall winners – great running!
- On Monday we welcomed our governors into school for the morning, to spend time in lessons, talking to staff, children and observing all the fantastic opportunities our children get at school.
- Our school choir is performing at the Angmering Christmas Fayre on Friday from 6.00pm.
- Parents, carers, friends and family of the school are welcome to join the monthly school prayer meeting held at St Margaret's Church in the Vestry Cottage on Friday morning at 9am.

Important Notices & Attachments

'Dates for your Diary' are attached with details of events in the remaining weeks of term. Please note the addition of Make It Morning on Monday 15th December. The children have been working on Christmas crafts which they will be bringing home with them on this day – we are asking for a voluntary donation of £2 per item to help cover the costs of materials.

Mrs Darby has attached information for parents about keeping their children safe online. It is so important parents are well informed about how to keep their children safe online – it is an ever-changing world, and so important we take the necessary safeguards. Please reach out if you would like further support.

Christmas Hamper tickets are for sale through MCAS.

Ricara in Littlehampton are now a uniform stockist for our school and have stock in store straight away ready for purchase.  Very soon you will also be able to order online from Ricara.  Please see the attached price list.  Their address is 3 Arundel Road, Littlehampton, West Sussex BN17 7BY tel:- 01903 723843.
