Thank you so much to all those who were able to attend our first ever Open Evening this week. It was great to welcome you into school to have a look around and find out more about our ambition to enable every child to shine at our school. It was also lovely to welcome prospective families too - our pupil ambassadors did a fantastic job of helping out around the school and displayed our values and ethos so well. Thank you for your support with this.
Congratulations to our Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 children who took part in the Angmering Mile event this week and won both events! Fantastic to see so many children representing our school and trying their best.
After speaking with the children last week, we have continued to develop our new look lunchtime provision with the introduction of gazebos and space for children to enjoy colouring and different arts and crafts. Our next goal is to have the forest school area open at lunch time...watch this space!
Please remember school is closed for INSET tomorrow (Friday 26th September).
Looking Ahead to Next Week

Important Notices & Attachments
In line with government regulations, the school cannot authorise holidays during term time. Regular attendance is a legal requirement and crucial to every child’s education. We appreciate your support in ensuring that family holidays are arranged outside the school term.
See attached information about healthy snacks as we learn in class about healthy eating during Snacktember.
Your child is welcome to come to school dressed in their own clothes when it is their birthday (or the Friday before, if it falls over the weekend or holiday).
As part of our school vision, Created to Shine, we aim to be a “city on a hill,” shining as a community and as individuals. Rooted in our core value of Love, we look for ways to serve others locally and beyond. Today your child will bring home a leaflet about Operation Christmas Child—an opportunity to pack and donate a shoebox of gifts for a child in need. The leaflet has all the details and shoeboxes can be dropped at school ready for collection during the week of 10th November.
Appointments will soon be made live for parent evenings which will be held on Tuesday 21st and Thursday 23rd October. To book you will need the My Child At School app. If you need an activation code, please contact the school office.
