Matthew 5 calls us to be 'City on a hill' - we want to let our light as a school shine brightly and beyond the walls of the school. We want to extend our work in the local community and serve others. We believe this is important in not only demonstrating God's love to others, but in helping children learn more about the world around them and their responsibilities within it.
We have recently established a partnership with Ayton House nursing home and are working together on several projects with the residents in a range of enrichment activities. This term, we have seen the start of a new book club, where residents from Ayton House come to school for the afternoon and spend time with the children sharing a book together.
Currently, we have a Foodbank Collection point in the school reception area and are able to refer families who may need support to Littlehampton Foodbank as well as the support offered by the local charity, Family Support Work CDA - based out of St Margaret's Church.
We also donate pre-loved uniform to local mission partners who send school uniform to a school in Madagascar.

We are on the look out for local (and further afield!) opportunities to work together in partnership - please be in touch if you have links, or ideas in which would help us grow this work.
