Thursday 4th June 2026

Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome back for the final half term of the school year! I hope you had a fantastic break and enjoyed the amazing weather. It was great to see so many of you at our May Day celebrations on the Friday before half term.  I hope you enjoyed the afternoon and I am sure you will agree that it was great to see the children do so well with their dances and come together as a whole school community.

We have lots going on over this half term, so please keep an eye on our newsletters and do get in touch if you have any questions or concerns.

This Week at St Margaret’s

  • Class Photos and Year 6 Leavers Photos were taken on Tuesday.  Once we have received the proof cards from Astracolour, these will come home via your child.  You will then be able to order online.  Please make a note of the deadline date!
  • Well done to our Year 4 children who completed their Year 4 Multiplication Check this week.
  • It was lovely to see our children and residents from Ayton House enjoying reading with each other in our school library.
  • We welcomed TV presenter and author Joanna Adeyinka-Burford into school yesterday. Joanna led a whole school assembly sharing messages from her book 'What's up!'.  This is a book written to support children facing challenges and experiences as they grow up, helping them learn about themselves and God.
