Dear Parents and Carers,
It has been busy at school this week, with lots of visitors in school. It has been an absolute pleasure to showcase our wonderful school and see such high levels of engagement across our classes. Classrooms have been calm, purposeful and full of children working collaboratively, trying their best, and producing excellent work. The Spring term is flying by, and it’s hard to believe that half term is only a couple of weeks away. We look forward to seeing you at Parents’ Evening on the 10th or 12th February. Please do sign up if you haven’t already.
This Week at St Margaret’s
This week we are celebrating how our children live out our school vision and values through our Shining Stars Award. Each month, one child from every class is chosen for “shining brightly”. We celebrate them in assembly, followed by tea (well… squash!) and cake with me. Our special assembly takes place this Friday.
A huge well done to all the children who have taken part in sports events over the past week—from Year 5 and 6 Indoor Athletics to the KS1 Multi‑Skills Festival. Not only did we enjoy great success, bringing home several medals, but we also saw children demonstrating our value of aspire through their determination, effort and teamwork.
We have received a very kind donation of a piano for the school and would like to thank the Wellman family for their generosity. We look forward to hearing the children start on their pianist journeys.
