Dear Parents and Carers,

This Week at St Margaret’s

  • On Tuesday, we enjoyed a harvest service at St Margaret's Church. It was lovely to welcome so many parents, carers, grandparents and friends to the service and to come together as a school community. Thank you for all the harvest donations too - we have been able to make a sizeable donation to Littlehampton Foodbank. It has been a great way of demonstrating our value of love!

  • We are delighted to welcome to St Margaret's School, Mrs Davut  - Mrs Davut joins us in the important role of School Business Manager and started with us this week. I am sure you will join me in welcoming Mrs Davut to our school family.
  • St Margaret's Church School Prayer Group - meeting on Friday 3rd October at 9am in the Vestry hall at St Margaret's Church. All welcome!
  • Good luck to those children taking part in the sporting event at the Littlehampton Academy on Friday as part of the 'Biggest Inclusion Festival'.
  • Reception families had a fantastic time at the Rectory on Sunday at the Reception Welcome Tea Party. A huge thanks to St Margaret's Church for having us!
  • Congratulations to our Year 5 and 6 Basketball team who finished in joint 2nd place at The Angmering School this week.
  • On Friday, we will come together as a school to award our first 'Shining Stars' awards - this is a new award to recognise individuals who have shone brightly in their classes this month.

  • Please can you support us in ensuring children are not riding scooters around the playground areas. We are trying to secure some funding for a bike/scooter parking area to be near the gates which will help, but in the meantime, please ensure your children walk with their scooter through the playground to ensure no one gets accidently hurt.
