SIAMS Inspection Report – May 2026

We are delighted to share the outcome of our recent SIAMS (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools) inspection. See attachment below.

The report recognises that St Margaret’s is a school where both pupils and adults flourish, with our Christian vision of “Created to shine” clearly at the heart of school life.

What the inspection says about our school

Inspectors highlighted a number of key strengths:

  • A clear and inspiring Christian vision that shapes all aspects of school life and decision-making
  • A welcoming, inclusive community where all are valued, respected and encouraged to succeed
  • Strong relationships and pastoral care, ensuring pupils feel safe, supported and ready to learn
  • Pupils who show kindness, responsibility and leadership, and who actively contribute to the school and wider community
  • A valued partnership with St Margaret’s Church, enriching collective worship and strengthening our sense of belonging
  • A rich and engaging curriculum with opportunities for creativity, exploration and personal development

Looking ahead

The report also identifies areas for development, including strengthening Religious Education and supporting pupils to better understand and express their own spiritual growth. We are already taking these areas forward as part of our ongoing school improvement.

Our community

We are incredibly proud of our pupils, staff and families. This report reflects the strength of our whole school community and our shared commitment to ensuring every child can grow, thrive and truly shine.
