Plain grey (not charcoal/black) full length school trousers (not cords, denim, canvas or trousers with combat-style side pockets and zips

 

Plain grey (not charcoal/black) shorts (no logos or combat style pockets)

 

Collared white shirt (long or short sleeved)

 

Navy school jumper with embroidered school crest (available from the office)

GIRLS:

 

Grey (not charcoal/black) tunic or skirt, worn on or below the knee

Navy (not pale or royal blue) ginham summer dresses worn on or below the knee (eg. available from Marks and Spencer, Asda, Sainsburys)

RECEPTION:

 

Children in Reception classes will wear a white collared polo shirt

SHOES:

 

All pupils will wear traditional polished black leather/leather-look shoes (no open toes, boots, lace up pumps, trainers, sandals or shoes with heels).  Shoe fastening can be either laces, buckles, or velco straps.  Boots may be worn in the playground but not as inside shoes.

 

PE KIT:

 

All pupils should ensure that their PE bags are available in school daily throughout the week

Trainers for outdoor PE (preferably relatively plain - without excessive patterning)

 

HAIR AND JEWELLERY:

 

Shoulder length/long hair should always be tied back.  Hair bands or alice bands should be plain school colours only (ie. navy, gold, grey, black).  No other hair accessories (eg. bows, flowers) should be worn.

 

Short hair should be kept neat, with no tram lines, shaved designs or heavily sculpted styling (ie. requiring use of gel/putty/mousse etc)

 

For health and safety reasons, we prefer that children do not wear any jewellery in school.  If your child has pierced ears they can wear studs but no other earrings.  Watches can be worn during the normal school day.  No other jewellery should be worn.

 

It should be noted that no watched are allowed to be worn during PE lessons for safety reasons.  If your child has pierced ears please ensure that they only wear studs and that they can either be removed or you provide microtape which can be used to cover and protect the ear studs during PE.

 
Pupils should not wear any make up school, including nail varnish.
