KS2 Angmering Mile - Tuesday 5th December 2017

Despite the cold weather we had a great turn out for the last Angmering Mile of 2017.  The boys set off first with the pressure of wanting to retain the 1st place trophy from last month.  Every single boy ran their best race so far and tackled the route with enthusiasm and determination.  A huge congratulations to Christian who came 1st and Sam Justice who came 3rd and the whole team for coming 1st overall.  We had five enthusiastic girls turn up for the event and even though there were so few of them they also all ran their best race to date.  Katie Webb from last Year 4 held up 4th place for the majority of the race, finally finishing in 8th position.  Our highest scoring girl was Freya Whittaker who came 7th.  The other three girls: Rebekah Webb, Amy Haydon and Ellie Flay all came in the top 20 which is a hugh achievement between them.  All those who took part should be really proud of themselves and I look forward to keeping the 1st place trophies next year!
