New News Story

Tuesday

Another fantastic day. We have been blessed with good weather. It rained for a short time.

This evening we will be reflecting on the day and many childre's sighted moments when they witnessed others helping by encouraging, supporting and being amazing team members.

Tonight some of the children will be performing in 'Foxlease has talent’ and showcasing some of their many talents.

They are all looking forward to our trip to Marwell tomorrow where they will be able to to get close to the wonders of the natural world.

They will have an opportunity to see a wide variety of animals from the endangered Amur tigers to majestic giraffes. The 140 acre zoo is home to an incredible range of exotic and endangered species, including:

  • Giraffes - towering above you in the giraffe house

  • Penguins - flying underwater at Penguin Cove

  • Tigers - beautiful, ferocious and intriguing!

  • Meerkats - foraging near Cafe Graze

  • Snow Leopards - a watchful eye at Roof of the World

  • Cheetahs - strolling around Savannah Tracks

  • Hippos - bobbing in our semi-aquatic mammal house

  • Rhinos - charging around their paddock
